Your setup, step by step
Start with the questions you get most, then add the sales steps.
Connect your Instagram account
Sign up free, then connect Instagram with Instagram’s own sign-in. You need a Business or Creator account; no Facebook Page is needed. Askenly uses Instagram’s official API, so your account stays yours.
Fill in your Business profile
In Settings, under Business profile, add shipping, returns, sizing and anything else shoppers ask. You can read your website’s homepage into the knowledge box and review it before saving.
Choose Answer questions
Add each common question with keywords and your answer, such as PRICE, SHIPPING or SIZE. Questions your answers don’t cover can go to your Inbox with the reason.
Send product links with Deliver something
For a product post, pick Deliver something and the keyword LINK. Each product link goes out as its own button, and the automation page counts who clicked.
Run giveaways with Grow your audience
Pick Grow your audience to ask for a follow before the entry is confirmed. You can ask people to tag a friend and pick a winner from the entries.
Publish and test
Comment each keyword from another account and check the replies. The automation page lists every run and what was sent.
Capture and Follow up: emails until they buy
Optional, on Growth and Scale. Turn interest into an email list and a sale.
A short sequence
Send the product, a reminder and a last-chance email, each on its own timer. A click ends the sequence early so buyers aren’t chased.
Count real sales
Send purchases from your store to your conversion link, and Askenly shows revenue on the automation page and stops the sequence for that buyer.
Unique codes for drops and launches
If a post promises a discount, Deliver something can hand out one unique code per person from a list you upload. Each code goes to one person only.
When the codes run out, the chat moves to your Inbox so you can decide what to send, instead of anyone getting a code that won’t work.
Before a launch or giveaway
- Every product link opens the right page on a phone.
- Your answers cover price, shipping, returns and sizing.
- Discount codes are uploaded, if the post promises one.
- You tested each keyword from a second account.
